What is “Mosey’s Make-A-Wish Extravaganza”?
I’m John Mosey and I am one your Grand Rapids Triathlon Race Directors. Ten years ago, I was inspired to sign up for the Riverbank Run in order to raise money for a scholarship honoring a high school friend. This year, in the spirit of the fundraising effort that started me on this crazy journey in triathlon, I’ve decided to once again ask for help as I raise money for one of my favorite charities, Make-A-Wish Michigan.
My co-director, Jon Conkling, and I are honored to partner with the Make-A-Wish Michigan and the Dream Team to grant wishes for kids who are battling critical illnesses. We believe in the power of a wish and the impact the community can make in the lives of Michigan children.
Right now, over 800 Michigan kids are waiting for their wishes to be granted and YOU can help make their wishes come true. Together, we can continue to be a light of hope for wish kids and their families.
How can you be entered to win these prizes?
We have partnered with great local businesses and sponsors in order to provide lots of different prizes – 3 months of triathlon coaching, entries into other area races, and more!
For every $10 donation you make on my fundraising page, you will have a chance to win. 100% of the donated funds to directly to Make-A-Wish Michigan! We will be announcing the winner(s) every Friday starting April 2nd and running through Friday, June 18th, the day before our race weekend.
