About Grand Rapids Triathlon

The Grand Rapids Triathlon’s  flat, fast course is ideal for the new and experienced triathlete alike. Enjoy a beautiful swim in the lake-like Thornapple River, ride the flat country-road bike course then run on the scenic, shaded run course with loads of local support. This race offers several free clinics leading up to the event, a pre-race swim and  pre-ride at the race site the week before along with an amazing expo. It’s the largest independent triathlon in Michigan and offers Super Sprint, Sprint, Olympic and Half distances. Come experience a world-class event in Grand Rapids, MI on June 10 & 11, 2023.

Race Location:

Ada, Michigan
Transition Area located in Ada Park (1116 Buttrick Ave SE, Ada, MI 49301)
Race Start at Boat Launch at Thornapple River. Dr. & Buttrick Ave. (Thornapple/Buttrick)

There is no onsite race parking. All athletes and spectators will park in designated areas of downtown Ada and shuttle to the athlete drop-off point. (Parking/Shuttle Information)
